Trick! or Treat? as the old saying goes at Halloween. The Telespond group certainly received a wonderful treat as the Day Care visited our center and treated everyone to wonderful Halloween songs. They in return received a little Halloween candy in return. Everyone was dressed for the Halloween Holiday in their princess, fairy, and a few superheroes costumes.
Senior Companion Program held it’s annual Dessert Social. The event was a wonderful success says,”Sister Madeleine Merritt”!

The topic for the monthly Education In-service for the Senior Companions was Making a difference through Music Therapy!
Our guest speaker was the informative and entertaining Anita L. Gadberry, PHD., MT-BC Director of the Music Therapy Program at MaryWood University.
Anita L. Gadberry, PHD., MT-BC Director stressed that Music Therapy maybe the ideal way to combine your love for music and desire to make a difference in the lives of others.
Music Therapy interventions promote wellness and may be designed to manage stress alleviates pain, enhance memory or meet cognitive social emotional needs.

Adult Day Care!
Many family members attended and enjoyed the festivities with their loved ones!
Frank Gervasi entertained with lively holiday songs and had the ladies and gentlemen singing along with Christmas carols. Mr. Gervasi always provides wonderful entertainment, and the clients enjoy his energy and his beautiful voice!
After the entertainment, there was a surprise visit by Santa Claus who passed out gifts. The party ended with the serving of a beautiful cake, and assorted homemade cookies and Amish Friendship bread brought in by the families.
